How are parts charged?

A part is one manufacturable profile from a drawing. You pay for parts, not pages, and only when you download them.

What a download uses from your allowance
What you downloadCounts asWhen it’s charged

Part you reject in review0 partsNever
  • A part is charged the first time you download its DXF. Downloading it again is free.
  • A part you reject in review is never downloaded, so it’s never charged.
  • A part from a scan, photo or sketch counts as 5 parts: it takes a vision model to read and more checking. That applies to the free trial too.
  • Your allowance resets at the start of each calendar month. Unused parts don’t carry over.
  • Parts beyond your allowance are charged at your plan’s additional-part rate.
  • All prices exclude VAT.

Anything uncertain is flagged for review, and a part you reject costs nothing. Check every DXF against the drawing before cutting.

Monthly or annual billing?

Annual billing gives you 12 months for the price of 10.

On annual billing the Starter plan is £990 a year instead of £1,188, and the same two months come off every paid plan. Switch the toggle on the plans above to see each plan’s annual price.

What if we need more than 2,000 parts a month?

Enterprise is set up with you: custom volume and commercial terms, from £1,200 a month.

FAQ

Questions about pricing

What to know before you send in your first drawing.

What counts as a part?

A part is a single manufacturable profile extracted from a drawing. Usage is counted by parts, not PDF pages: a part is charged the first time you download its DXF, and downloading it again is free. A part from a scan, photo or sketch counts as 5 parts: it takes a vision model to read and more checking.

Do rejected parts use my monthly allowance?

No. You pay only for the parts you download. A part you reject in review is never downloaded, so it is never charged.

Do unused parts carry over to next month?

No. Your allowance resets at the start of each calendar month, and parts you didn’t use don’t carry over.

What happens when I go over my allowance?

Each part beyond the allowance is charged at your plan’s additional-part rate: 55p per additional part on Starter, 40p per additional part on Workshop, 30p per additional part on Production.

Do prices include VAT?

No. All prices exclude VAT.

Do I pay for each person on my team?

No. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, so estimators, programmers and the production team can all work from the same account.
