Drawing to DXF examples

Each example is an engineering drawing made for the purpose, so no customer drawing appears anywhere. Each converted card shows the drawing as uploaded, the DXF Nest Ready produced and the facts of that run: how long it took from submission to ready, what was found, what was flagged and what the reviewer did. Cards marked as placeholders are still to come.

No card required. Bring your own drawings.

Vector PDFs

Drawings exported from CAD, with their lines stored in the PDF.

Scanned PDFs

Paper drawings put through a scanner: pixels, with no lines inside.

Images

How were these examples made?

From generated drawings, through the live product, exactly as a customer’s drawing would go.

  • Each drawing is an invented part on an A3 sheet, with a border, title block, dimensions and notes, generated for this page. No customer drawing is used.
  • The vector PDF and the PNG image are uploaded as generated. The scanned examples will be generated drawings, printed and scanned on an office scanner.
  • Each one is uploaded to the live product and reviewed as a customer would review it. The card says what the reviewer did, and the DXF offered for download is the one that came out.

Check every DXF against the drawing before cutting, these included. More on what happens to a drawing: how it works.
